Lakeland Bird of Prey Centre, in Lowther, on the A6 south of Penrith, is home to dozens of birds of prey: vultures, falcons, eagles and more, which take to the air for flying demonstrations this Wednesday from 2-4pm - when you can have a go at flying one of these extraordinary creatures yourself. Go along and watch their majesterial soaring and say hello to them.
